ABOUT ME
Hello, and welcome to my website! My name is Evelien Van Camp, a highly organised, confident kind and creative costume professional. I work as a Designer, Maker and Supervisor for stage and screen.
A deep love for the stage led me to study Theatre, Film and Literature studies at the University of Antwerp, where I started working as assistant director, stage manager and production manager for various theatres, opera houses and orchestra’s. After relocating to London (a life long dream) I pursued my love for costume and have been working as a supervisor, designer and maker ever since.
With 15 years international experience in the industry, not only in costume, but also as in a variety of other backstage roles, I believe I have a unique insight the ins and outs of the industry and its various departments. From budget management, to organisation and communication, to crisis management, efficiency and out of the box thinking, my combined experience makes me exceptionally skilled at executing a vision, whatever the budget or circumstances.
